Assima STT Trainer (ASTT) is our solution for creating versatile, screenshot, simulation-based software training and support material.

With Assima STT Trainer, Instructional Designers in large or small companies can record interactions with any software, and easily turn these interactions into training content for employees or customers.

ASTT offers a truly team based collaborative authoring environment, allowing managers to assign content to different authors at different stages of a project. The final training output is compatible with multiple browsers and mobile devices.

How it Works

Assima STT Trainer’s Recorder and Editor are designed to make creating application screenshot simulations simple and straight forward, with technology that accelerates creation by saving every screen, mouse click, and text entry into just one source file. There is no technical configuration required.

This source file can be modified to produce eight or more different outputs. Standard outputs include a Preview simulation, an interactive Training simulation lesson, a Test simulation file, documentation files, and a Live Help file. You can also create instructional material that will be used for classroom-based training. As a content developer, you can edit and publish all outputs at once, or individually.

Technical Specifications

Assima STT Trainer is a server-based application with one part installed on a central server, and other components installed on authors computers. There is no installation or plug-in required for learners, other than Internet Explorer.
